The Deans of Academic Affairs Council (DAAC) is an organization of the Deans and Directors of Academic Affairs with the Technical College System of Georgia. The DAAC provides a forum for Deans and Directors of Academic Affairs and the TCSG staff to affect and direct the future of academic efforts in Georgia’s System of Technical Colleges.

The Deans of Academic Affairs Council meetings are held on a quarterly basis. Two are planned as drive-in meetings lasting only a day, and two are planned for two days each. All meetings are generally held at a technical college. Agenda topics are set by the Executive Committee who meets approximately one month prior to the DAAC meeting.

The Chairperson of the DAAC presides at the meetings. The Chairperson is elected from the membership of the DAAC to serve a two-year term as Chairperson. The Vice-Chairperson records and distributes the minutes of the meetings and serves as Chairperson in the absence of the sitting chair. There is an Executive Committee of the DAAC, consisting of the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, and a representative from each of the six consortia.
