Literacy Students Acquiring or If you are currently enrolled in an Office of Adult Literacy (OAL) program, have completed a learning contract with the adult literacy instructor and you need to provide verification of your classroom attendance to the Georgia Department of Motor Vehicles Safety (DMVS), please download and complete the following forms:
As of July 1, 2005 students that are attending GED classes and receive the Certificate of Adult Literacy Attendance no longer have to apply for a hardship exemption. They can simply take the Adult Literacy Attendance form, their GED diploma or their High School diploma into any of our reinstatement facilities and have their license reinstated (if they are suspended because of a school violation) without the hardship exemption application.
