II. A. 1. b. Transfer of Funds Among Technical Colleges

The Commissioner may, when necessary, authorize the transfer of budgeted funds among the Technical Colleges.

The Central Office shall retain a percent of the annual appropriations to minimize the need to transfer funds among colleges during the year. These funds will be made available to colleges for expenditures of an unforeseen nature which could not be budgeted.

The Commissioner shall authorize all transfers of funds among colleges.

The Commissioner shall authorize all budget amendments for the use of the retained appropriations.
