II. C. 5. Use of Telecommunications Equipment

It is the policy of the Department to control and minimize the costs of using communication services and equipment.

The cost of acquiring and using telecommunication equipment represents a significant amount of funds. The Department shall develop procedures and controls in conformance with the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget Policy Governing the Use and Control of Telecommunications Equipment is understood and implemented.

The Commissioner shall develop procedures and controls to minimize the cost of acquiring and using telecommunications equipment within the Department.
