Certified Specialist Programs

Currently the DTAE has developed four unique certification programs that prepare Georgia's workforce in the areas of customer service, manufacturing, and construction related occupations. A fifth certification program, Certified Export Specialist, is presently under development.

Certified Manufacturing Specialist Certified Manufacturing Specialist
The Certified Manufacturing Specialist program is providing Georgia's manufacturing businesses with qualified employees with strong foundational manufacturing skills. This CMS program is currently available at Georgia's network of technical colleges and associated university technical programs.
Certified Customer Service Specialist Certified Customer Service Specialist
Designed by service-training professionals, the Certified Customer Service Specialist program helps provide an available skilled work force for Georgia's hospitality, retail and other service industries which customer contact is a vital operation.

Certified Warehousing and Distribution Specialist Logo Certified Warehousing and Distribution Specialist 
Our newest specialist program provides a broad background of manufacturing and distributions skills and methods. This program will allow Georgia industries to hire individuals with confidence and provide a new level of skill and ingenuity to warehousing and distribution as never before seen in Georgia.

The Certified Construction Worker program was designed in collaboration with the Construction Education Foundation/Alliance of Georgia and the National Center for Construction Education and Research. This program will help to provide a trained workforce for Georgia's construction industry.
