Accountability
The State Board of Technical and Adult Education will
evaluate progress toward fulfillment of our strategic goals within the
context of continuous improvement. The review process involves evaluation
of the agency's progress in implementing the plan and evaluation of
agency effectiveness in meeting desired results identified in our annual
Strategic Focus document. Accomplishment of appropriate annual desired
results are also evaluated in conjunction with the results-based budgeting
process. These evaluation results will be reported to the Governor's
Office of Planning and Budget as part of the State of Georgia budget
process.

specifications for each occupational program. These standards allow
the Georgia system of technical colleges to offer their business and
industry partners this guarantee:

employer finds that the graduate is deficient in one or more competencies
as defined in the standards, the technical college will retrain the
employee at no instructional cost to the employee or the employer."
This guarantee
