The Data Center collects and reports data from the 34 Technical Colleges of Georgia and from 4 University System of Georgia Colleges with Technical Divisions. This data is then programmatically analyzed in support of DTAE's business operations. Services provided by the Data Center include:

• Implementation of data collection methods that meet the agency's reporting needs

• Technical support for technical college MIS staff
  
  
• Design and management of extraction program to populate central database with data from 38 technical colleges and divisions
  
  
• Technical instructions for submitting data to the Data Center
  
  
• Implementation of error checks to ensure validity of data submitted
  
  
• Writing and documentation of all standard and ad hoc programming
  
  
• Publication of electronic reports accessible on the Internet
