Accountability and Guarantee Accountability The State Board of Technical and Adult Education will evaluate progress toward fulfillment of our strategic goals within the context of continuous improvement. The review process involves evaluation of the agency's progress in implementing the plan and evaluation of agency effectiveness in meeting objectives. Overall progress toward achievement of desired results will be reported at the end of each year. Accomplishment of objectives will be evaluated using the results-based performance measures identified for each objective/desired result. evaluation results will be reported to the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget as part of the new Georgia budget process.
Guarantee These standards allow the Georgia system of technical institutes to offer their business and industry partners this guarantee: "If one of our graduates educated under a standard program or his/her employer finds that the graduate is deficient in one or more competencies as defined in the standards, the technical institute will retrain the employee at no instructional cost to the employee or the employer." This guarantee is in effect for a period of two years after graduation.
