Another Record Year for Quick Start

  • Three quarters of Quick Start's projects were with companies located outside of the metropolitan Atlanta area

  • More than half of Quick Start's projects were for facilities in rural Georgia

  • The number of trainees for new and expanding companies increased by 4.8% over FY99, to 35,613 in FY00, setting another record for Quick Start

International Companies
Approximately 16 percent of all FY00 Quick Start projects were with international companies. Represented countries include Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, and United Kingdom.
