The company makes polyester for powder coatings.

eMotion Mobility broke ground in Hinesville, Ga., on Dec. 10, 2001. The unique electric "smart cars" "will help alleviate air pollution in metropolitan areas. Founder and chairman Donald Panoz (r) is pictured with John Wilson, president, and Randy Hasty (l), executive vice president. The Hinesville facility will employ approximately 150 workers and has the capacity to produce 6,000 vehicles annually. Panoz's businesses in Georgia include the Chateau Elan Winery and Resort and Panoz Racng. The Panoz family of companies presently employs more than 1,500 people in Georgia.
