Quick Notes

Jackie Rohosky As an important part of the Georgia economic development team, Quick Start networks with many agencies across the state, such as the Georgia Department of Industry, Trade & Tourism and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. As you will see in this issue of our newsletter, teamwork is a vital part of the state's economic web of support.

I also think you will be impressed with Quick Start's flexibility, an attribute for which we are constantly commended. A perfect example of this is our state-of-the-art mobile technology lab featured in our lead story. This lab travels all over Georgia to communities small and large, serving a wide variety of companies. In its first 18 months, the van staff has taught classes to more than a thousand employees.

Spring always heralds great beauty in Georgia and serves as a perfect time to show our state at its best to prospective businesses that are considering making Georgia home. We commend Lindsay Thomas and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce for their highly successful Red Carpet Tour, now in its 43rd year. This tour is the perfect welcome mat, and Quick Start is proud to introduce prospective companies to our nationally recognized workforce training program -- just one of the reasonto make Georgia your company's home.
