Shaw Industries of Dalton increased its Ringgold plant by 66 jobs this summer. Plaid Enterprises, Inc., makers of craft supplies, increased its workforce in Decatur by 100. Flexible Technologies, Inc., headquartered in London, England, has opened a new facility in Cairo, employing 45 people to manufacture ductwork for air conditioners. Forest River, makers of cargo trailers, announced it will be employing 200 people in its Ocilla plant. Lithonia-Cochran, makers of fluorescent lightfixtures, will be opening a plant in Cochran, employing 150 people. Georgia Ductile, based in Atlanta, announced it will open an auto parts plant in Cordele, employing 150 people. | |
