2003 GOAL Winner Christina Dixon Atlanta Technical College 2003 GOAL winner, Christina Dixon, received her Culinary Arts Diploma program from Atlanta Technical College this year. Prior to attending Atlanta Tech, Christina was a Foreign Exchange Student at Felix Fechenbach-Berufskolleg in Germany, and received a Certificate in Culinary Arts from the Institute of Culinary Arts. Christina volunteers her time with culinary arts organizations such as the American Culinary Federation, Culinary Arts Club, and Taste of Darnell Cooking Expose. Winning the state GOAL title was not the first award for Christina, whose achievements include the Who’s Who American High School Students, Headmaster Excellence Award, and High School Culinary Cook Off Semi Finalist. When asked why she chose technical education, Christina replied that she wanted an education that would give her an affordable option for furthering her education with internship opportunities. She feels that the Culinary Arts program will enable her to achieve her career objective of becoming a catering entrepreneur.
