The mission
of the Accountability and Institutional Effectiveness Division is to
support technical college planning, evaluation, and accreditation
activities that are consistent with the mission of DTAE.
Functions These are the five main
functions of the Accountability and Institutional Effectiveness
Division:
- To
evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of programs offered by the
technical colleges
- To provide
state leadership and maintain compliance with federal
vocational/technical legislation
- To provide
support to the technical colleges in their planning, evaluation, and
accreditation activities to ensure continuous improvement of educational
programs and services
- To work
collaboratively with DOL in regards to implementing workforce
development legislation
- To
coordinate research activities in regards to institutional effectiveness
and performance accountability
