ACR 1020 - Equipment and Hand Tools Identification
Course Description Introduces equipment and hand tools used in automotive collision repair. Topics include: safety procedures, hand tools identification, power hand tools identification, air supply systems, and hydraulic systems.

Flammable liquids	Describe precautions for handling and storing fuels, solvents and refrigerants.
Tools and equipment	List safety precautions in using tools and equipment. Explain why a clean shop is important.
Safety glasses	Explain when and why safety glasses should be worn.
Lifting	Demonstrate proper way to lift a heavy object.
Personal protection	Wear paint respirator when priming or painting.
	When welding, wear helmet and goggles.
	Protect hands with rubber gloves when working with chemicals.
	Wear supplied air respirator when paint contains isocyanates.
