AHS 1126 – Health Science Physics

 

Course Description

This course introduces the student to the basic laws of physics, with specific applications for health science students. Topics include:  basic Newtonian mechanics; static and dynamic fluid concepts; heat and temperature; basic principles of waves, light, and sound, basic principles of electricity and magnetism to include electrical safety.
