CIS 1117 – Implementing Operating Systems Security

Course Description:

This course will provide knowledge and the practical experience necessary to configure the most common server platforms. Lab exercises will provide students with experience of establishing security for the network environment.  Topics include:  identify steps to secure workstations, identify steps to secure servers, identify steps to secure information infrastructure, demonstrate securing a network using at least two common server platforms.
