COS 118 – Nail Care I

Course Description

Provides additional experience in manicuring and pedicuring techniques required of applicants for state licensure. Emphasis is placed on performance, using live models in an actual or simulated occupational setting. Topics include: manicure, nail repair, artificial nails, pedicure, and advanced and new techniques.

Techniques	Complete a minimum of fifteen nail repair applications totaling at least fifteen hours.

ARTIFICIAL NAILS		0	0	90
Nail tipping with overlay	Complete a minimum of ten nail tipping with overlay applications totaling at least thirty hours.

Sculptured nails	Complete a minimum of fifteen sculptured nail applications totaling at least forty-five hours.
