MCA 233 – Mold Construction I

Course Description

Emphasizes practical application of principles of Mold Design I. Students will design piece parts and mold bases on the drawing board for production. Topics include: design of piece part; design of injection mold; and calculations of projected areas, clamping pressure, short volume, and weight of assigned piece part.
