MSD 224 - Crisis Reaction and Response

Course Description

This course will provide an overview of stress reactions as applied to victims and rescuers. This course will also provide a specific focus on preventing vicarious victimization , stress and reactions, and post traumatic stress disorder, and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) as applied to specific organizations and individuals. As a final outcome, the student will develop an intervention and training program for an identified group.
