PSY 1150 – Industrial/Organizational Psychology

 

Course Description

This course provides instruction in, and discussion of a wide range of activities related to interpersonal and managerial skills required in today’s business and industry.  Topics include:  an overview of industrial/organizational psychology; principles of human resources management; psychological testing; performance appraisal; training and professional development of employees; principles of leadership; motivational factors, workplace conditions; safety and health; and workplace stressors.
