TEL 120 - Local Area Networks

Course Description:

Introduces the fundamentals of local area networks and explores the applications of local area networking.  Laboratory exercises give students hands-on experience with local area networks topologies and uses.  Topics include:  introduction to local area networks, network topologies, network protocols and access, network interconnection methods, and installation and maintenance of networks.
