VAS 202 – Advanced Cerebrovascular
Course
Description
This course provides a
thorough understanding of the cerebrovascular anatomy, physiology, and
pathology. The clinical assessment of patients for cerebrovascular disease is
discussed, including normal and abnormal anatomy. Patient factors and patient
histories are described. Topics include: cerebrovascular anatomy, invasive
cerebrovascular tests, physical examination, noninvasive cerebrovascular exams,
cerebral artery disease, TCDs, and carotid artery studies.
