VAS 203 - Arterial Duplex

Course Description

The course will provide a thorough understanding of the anatomy, physiology and pathology of extremity arterial vascular procedures.  The clinical assessment of patients with acute and chronic arterial disease will be discussed.  A description of noninvasive tests used to evaluate extremity arterial vascular examinations. Topics include: anatomy, physical examination, noninvasive physiologic testing of extremity, patient history, arterial vascular procedures, contributing diseases, and risk factors.
