Program Description    

 

The purpose of the Forensic Analyst Specialist technical certificate is to provide training opportunities for persons to gain employment or increase their knowledge in this growing field and provide opportunities for advancement. Courses in the technical certificate provide classroom and hands-on learning in the areas of crime scene investigation and the analysis and collection of evidence. The course will include instruction in blood splatter analysis; DNA collection and theory; crime scene photography and development; and fingerprint collection, classification, and identification.
