Program Description    

The Real Time Captioning program is a technical certificate of credit design to educate individuals for entry into the field of captioning. This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of basic video and audio production.  Topics of discussion include the technical aspects of video, light and sound.  The course also covers production theory, terminology, and techniques, with an emphasis on the function and operation of equipment to achieve basic broadcast production skills.
