The Office of Technical Education contributes to the economic growth and stability of the state by providing quality technical education and special workforce services. The primary role of this office is to ensure that all programs and services excel in meeting the individual's need for career success and the community's need for continued economic growth and development.

The Office ensures that each institution provides equal access to all segments of the population. The Office is also responsible for joint planning and coordination of programs and services with other public agencies and organizations to provide Georgia citizens with a seamless education system. Technical education services are provided to improve the social and economic well being of Georgia’s citizens.

Accountability and Institutional Effectiveness
The Accountability and Institutional Effectiveness Division supports technical college planning, evaluation, and accreditation activities that are consistent with the mission of TCSG.

Georgia Virtual Technical College
Now you can take technical classes online at the Georgia Virtual Technical College. A variety of courses in many disciplines are available, with more being continually added.

GOAL: Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership
The GOAL program recognizes and rewards student excellence within the state's technical colleges.

Meeting Approval Request

All statewide meetings must be approved in advance of the meeting via the completion of a Special Request Form. (click on link immediately above to complete and process)

Academic Affairs
The Academic Affairs provides leadership and service to technical colleges in the areas of curriculum development and revision, faculty development, educational resources, distance learning, and health and safety requirements.
