Improvement is defined as a project designed to make a program, system or service better and/or more valuable. An Improvement project produces a process or method of doing things better than before or develops an addition or alternative to an existing program, system, or service that adds to its value.
Innovation is defined as a project that introduces a new process or way of doing things to a program, system, or service which has not previously been done.
